Meeting Andrea's Family

I had the privilege and honor to meet all of Andrea's family at a get-together in Dapitan City. I have read many times over on a Yahoo Group MAG-ANAK that I belong to, that Filipinas do have large families (they where not kidding). I imagined meeting approximately 25 to 30 family members at the most, well my predictions where wrong again, a total of 80 to 90 family members attended. What a joy to see all of these people happy and having a good time. The food was excellent as usual, my favorite is the Pork Lechon. Naturally rice was always available, a good treat was the sweet rice cakes. I will never forget Andrea's initial words where, "You must meet my family", this was extremely important to her. It was a pleasure for me to meet everyone of them, I was honored to have been invited to meet them. One of my experience visiting was to attend a Coq Fight, I stayed just enough to take a few pictures and to be able to say that I did see a Coq-Fight.
